The idea for a blog has always sat in the back of my mind, looming as a possibility...but why haven't I jumped on the chance to talk about upcycyling in this type of format?
Everyone online will tell you that blogs are dead in 2026. Well, if that is the case, then nobody will ever read this! But in the case that someone does stumble across these "words on a page", I say welcome to you! And I hope you are having a good day.
My plans for this blog are to encourage and inspire the sewing newbie that lives inside of you. To inspire you to try new things, step out of your comfort zone, and take a long forgotten item of clothing or piece of fabric from your stash, and turn it into something magical!
I also want to provide free patterns to make some of the items I've created over the past few years that I've been upcycling, so that you can try your own hand at textile transformation.
With this being the first of its kind, I will keep things short. But be on the lookout for lots of upcycling ideas in the coming weeks and months.
